About
Welcome! Thanks for checking out my work.
My interest in performance came as soon as I could talk. Once I learned I could use my voice and body to get people’s attention… there was no turning back!
I began as a stage actress at a very young age in Washington, DC. I sang in professional children’s choirs and had the opportunity to perform with a variety of theatre companies. I also spent time touring Europe with an honor choir made up of high school students from all over the Eastern U.S.
After my high school graduation, I ventured to Athens, GA where I attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and received my BA in Theatre and Film Studies. While at the University of Georgia (UGA), I spent 4 years honing my craft through extensive voice, movement and technique training. I also spent a Summer abroad in London and Dublin studying British and Irish acting styles. One of the highlights of my training at UGA was my two years as a member of our resident Commedia del’Arte Troupe. During my time as a member, our troupe was selected for a series of Master Classes with the world’s leading practitioner, Antonio Flava. This Renaissance art of long-form improv gave me the performance, writing and character development training that most contributes to my success today. UGA was also selected for Master Classes with Improv greats such as Del Close during my time there.
With my diploma in hand, I returned to DC and took on the professional stage adorned in a bright orange unitard as the “Lion” in Synetic/Classika Theater’s “The Lion and The Mouse.” Also while in DC, I shot segments for TruTV and MSNBC, leaving me with a desire to delve further into the world of Film and TV.
Soooo, in November of 2008, I packed up and headed West to Los Angeles, where I currently reside. And, as they say, the rest is history
I am well trained, full of energy, and have a positive and professional attitude towards everything I undertake. I often say it’s my fear of a desk job that keeps me in the biz, but really, it’s what comes most naturally and gives me the most satisfaction. Anything else would be selling myself short.
